Post Office Financial Development Institute, Special Lecture by Choi Bong-hyeok, a generative AI expert who created ChatGPT

Choi Bong-hyeok, the director of the training institute and vice president of the Korea AI Education Association (President, Professor Moon Hyung-nam, Sookmyung Women's University), conducted Udio and GENAI generative AI education at the Post Office Financial Development Institute's conference room on the 16th.

This course was conducted for 20 employees of the Post Office Financial Development Institute for eight weeks, at the request of the public institution, the Post Office Financial Development Institute, by the Korea AI Education Association and the ESG Metaverse Research Institute.

The Post Office Financial Development Institute, under the Ministry of Science and ICT, designated the first AI Chief Responsibility Officer (CAIO) and AI Officer among public institutions, and has been conducting AI education every Thursday from 4 pm to 6 pm for eight weeks, from April 11 to May 30, to enable them to actively utilize AI.

The educational programs conducted on this day are as follows:

Udio course

Udio AI uses advanced algorithms and machine learning technology to autonomously generate music.

Udio AI can create music in real time, playing a direct role in content creation for promoting SNS blogs and financial products.

Choi Bong-hyeok, AI and ESG instructor, conducted education on various topics, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, through Udio.

GENAI course

GenAI (Generative AI Content) is an innovative technology that uses artificial intelligence technology to create various forms of content, such as text, images, music, and videos.

This technology focuses on directly generating new content, unlike existing artificial intelligence technologies.

GenAI uses various artificial intelligence technologies, such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, and creates new content from learning data.

Unlike narrow AI designed for specific tasks, GenAI aims to make AI capable of performing all intellectual tasks that humans can do, making it versatile and adaptable, and contributing to work performance as a secretary role.

Choi Bong-hyeok, AI and ESG instructor, conducted practical training on GENAI, focusing on fact-checking practices related to detecting AI model bias, data privacy, and fairness.

Moon Hyung-nam, president of the Korea AI Education Association, said, "Through Choi Bong-hyeok's education goal, Udio and GENAI fact-checking education, we have improved the level of achievement by guiding work performance that can play a more professional and ethical role in the field of AI."

Meanwhile, mBank, a global bank headquartered in Poland, sent 19 employees selected from its "Innovative Idea Contest" within the bank to Korea, the "global innovation capital," for training, requesting Professor Moon Hyung-nam, president of the Korea AI Education Association and professor of the Department of Global Convergence Studies at Sookmyung Women's University, to provide AI education, and successfully conducted the training.
