The Chungbuk Disability Rehabilitation Center (Director Lee Seung-han) will hold the ‘2024 Disability Employment Fair’ at the Hoam Gymnasium on the 11th.

Supported by Chungbuk Province and Chungju City, this job fair will be held for disabled people in the province who are not employed, special schools, and special class graduates. It will include image-making lectures and on-site consulting.

In addition, disability employment programs, promotions of local vocational rehabilitation facility programs, on-site interviews with companies hoping to hire people with disabilities, work experience activities, and counseling booths will also be operated.

Along with this, a performance by the Hyundai Elevator Choir, which recently launched a choir for people with disabilities and is taking the lead in hiring people with disabilities, is scheduled to take place.

The Center expects that a large number of local companies hoping to hire people with disabilities will participate in the job fair, providing an opportunity to improve community awareness regarding the employment of people with disabilities.

The 2024 Disability Employment Fair is open to anyone, including companies hoping to hire people with disabilities and disabled people who wish to find a job.

Director Lee Seung-han said, "Our center is making various efforts to connect local disabled people with companies so that they can both prosper. Chungju Mayor Jo Gil-hyung said, "We hope that this Disability Employment Fair will create jobs for both disabled people who may have limited access to job information and companies facing employment difficulties."

He continued, "We will actively support the creation of jobs by connecting disabled people and companies through opportunities to meet, identifying high-quality companies, and lowering the employment barrier for disabled people."
